This piece is called “The Fear of Letting Go”

Tyler wanted to take a step outside of her artistic box & try something different. Lately she has been inspired by traditional art tattoos.

The artist poured all of her emotion into this piece. She had no idea how she was going to pull this off, but sometimes you have to try different things until you get different results.

This piece was inspired by the artist almost stepping on snakes 2 separate times during a walk. If you’re reading this, beware of snakes of your past creeping in. Whether it’s toxic people, tendencies, habits or addictions. The eagle represents protection and the rose next to it represents love. The anchor is next to the snake which represents not letting people pull you down with them in their misery. It’s okay to be there for them, but don’t get consumed in it.

The cards are what we are dealt in life. Some have it easy (luck) and some of us have a harder journey. The eye above it represents seeing things as they are and being self aware to heal our pain. The skeleton represents the moving mechanics of the human body.

The heart represents impact. There are a select few people in our lives that leave an impression and have an impact on us in all the best ways possible. Tyler's mother, Missy, was that person for her. The dagger represents fighting through silent battles. The sparrow represents looking up for better days ahead.

Around the skateboard, she used words that have been heavy on her heart lately… Breakthrough, Hope, Self love, Faith, Miracles & a reminder to NEVER GIVE UP. The blue and red droplets represent the blood, sweat and tears that we pour into something we believe in deeply. With anything great comes sacrifice.

Tyler's biggest goal with my art is to give meaning to life. This journey is beautiful, but it is not always easy. Our pit falls and shortcomings is what ignites us to be self aware enough to start healing. The dark times remind us that there is light and in some odd way it makes us more grateful for things like joy and happiness.

If you are reading this today: the pain will lessen and it will get better 🌊🩷 I promise ✨🫶
